Wright State University will hold a two-day building surplus sale on March 22–23 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to expedite contents from the former Boonshoft School of Medicine Research Building at 3171 Research Park Blvd.
“Its really good stuff,” said Kathy Warden, facilities planning manager. “There’s something here that everybody can use.”
The sale contains various office items including desks, file cabinets, tables and appliances.
Warden said the goal is to remove the contents from the building for the new owners and make sure the useable items do not end up in a landfill.
The sale will be conducted on a “cash and carry” basis, and only cash and checks will be accepted. Patrons must come prepared to move the items from the premises on the day of purchase. Masks must be worn while in the building.
