Fall Fest, the annual celebration that highlights Raider Weeks at Wright State University, brought students, staff and faculty together for an outer space-themed day of fun, music, food and free goodies.
The Sept. 1 event gave students a chance to meet student leaders and learn more about student organizations, educational opportunities at Wright State and services offered by different campus departments.
Organized by the University Activities Board, Fall Fest attracted about 5,000 people and 120 student organizations and vendors.
“I didn’t know about half of these organizations until I started planning the event,” said Lexi Ricker, a junior majoring in psychology and University Activities Board president. “We want people to get involved and stay on campus and feel like they belong.”
