Wright State University’s Career Services hosted the In-Person Career Fair Fall 2023 on Oct. 18 in the Student Union Apollo Room. There were 56 employers on-hand to meet 600 Wright State students and alumni in attendance to fill roles in their organizations.
“It’s so exciting seeing all of these people and having an opportunity to talk to them,” said Cody Mont, a junior majoring in supply chain management.
New this year, employers were able to connect with students after the fair through a Handshake QR code set up at each employee station. Students could scan the codes with their phones, giving employers a record of their visits and making it easier to connect.
“It was a great experience,” said Elijah Corbin, a first-year student majoring in financial services.
