Wright State President Hopkins named chair of Ohio council

Wright State University President David Hopkins has been elected chair of the Inter-University Council of Ohio.

In the role, Hopkins will oversee the council, which consists of the presidents of the 14 public universities in the state. The council, or IUC, aims to build collaboration among the schools, as well as government advocacy. Hopkins will serve in the position from July 1 through June 30, 2014.
