If you have never taken a trip to Wright State’s Career Center, located on the third floor of the Student Union, it’s OK, they’re coming to you instead.
The Career Center staff created a mobile adviser booth out of a cardboard refrigerator box and modeled after Lucy’s advice booth from the “Peanuts” comics. The Career Center box is placed in high traffic areas like the Union Market and the Student Union Atrium.
Students do not need an appointment to ask advisers career questions and it’s free. Advisers are prepared to discuss Career Fair prep, such as resume feedback, rehearse 30-second introductions and future employer research.
The box will be in 163 Student Union during the spring Career Fair on Wednesday, March 15, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
“We want to help the students be comfortable for the event,” said Lisa Duke, career services assistant director.
