May Daze, the spring festival at Wright State University that started in the 1960’s, has changed plenty through the years.
In its heyday it was pretty similar to the modern parking lot tailgate party, but it’s far more tame and driven by student organization recruitment today.
Given that the 2011 May Daze festival was the last of its kind because of the pending quarter-to-semester conversion in 2012, many who attended the event this year reflected on their experiences through the decades.
The festival will continue next year in April with a different name.
