Fleece blankets for sick and traumatized children were cut, tied and labeled by Wright State students, faculty and staff on April 5 in the Student Union Atrium.
With the help of 250 volunteers more than 550 blankets were donated to local social service agencies and area shelters. Since 1995, Project Linus has donated over 6.7 million blankets nationally.
One blanket costs between $10 and $18 to make. Wright State has donated over 6,000 blankets in previous years to the Dayton-area Project Linus.
