Fleece blankets for sick and traumatized children were cut, tied and labeled by Wright State students and employees April 2 in the Student Union Atrium.
With the help of numerous volunteers more than 600 blankets were donated to local social service agencies and area shelters. Since 1995, Project Linus has donated over 7.3 million blankets nationally.
One blanket costs between $10 and $18 to make. Wright State has donated over 6,000 blankets in previous years to Dayton-area Project Linus.
