Mildred Culbreath, an administrative specialist in the Department of Marketing, is the recipient of the 2019 President’s Award for Excellence in Human Relations.
Culbreath has been a valuable member of the Department of Marketing in the Raj Soin College of Business since December 2016. Prior to serving in her current position, she was administrative assistant in the Office of the Dean in the Raj Soin College of Business.
Her colleagues in the Department of Marketing say Culbreath has made a huge impact on those she works with. Her colleagues describe her as a positive, uplifting person who brings a smile to everyone’s face.
Culbreath is incredibly professional and supportive. No matter what her specific job title is, she is always willing to assist people in other offices in order to get the job done. She is unfailingly helpful in answering questions from students, faculty and staff.
In addition to her role as an administrative specialist, Culbreath likes to stay involved with the Wright State community. She volunteers as an advisor for a student organization and takes pride in knowing that anyone can come to her for help or questions.
Always helpful, cheerful and enjoyable to be around, Culbreath goes above and beyond her job description to support her peers and Wright State students succeed.
