As associate director of financial aid, Aaron Skira looks for creative ways to make the aid process easier, less stressful, and more attainable for all Wright State students. In 2006, he served on the Banner Implementation Team and was instrumental in making financial aid information accessible through WINGS Express. His hard work has decreased phone calls and office visits because students are able to find their answers on the web.
Skira has collaborated with the Office of Institutional Research for several years. He created eight pages of financial aid information for the office’s annual Student Fact Book and helps provide accurate financial aid data for surveys such as Peterson’s Guide and the U.S. News and World Report.
“We are now learning more about our students than we ever have,” said Barb Bullock, assistant vice president of institutional research. “Much of the credit goes to Aaron’s innovative approach.”
