Filmmaker and Wright State faculty member Steven Bognar wrote about the decline of 35-millimeter projection in movie theaters in The New York Times.
Published as an op-doc, Bognar’s article features his short film “Last Reel,” which chronicles the final days of movie projection on 35mm film at the Little Art Theatre in Yellow Springs. The theatre converted to a digital projection system last year.
Bognar teaches advanced film production in the Department of Theatre, Dance and Motion Pictures.
