Lee Hannah, assistant professor of political science at Wright State University, and Daniel Mallinson, assistant professor of public policy and administration at Penn State, analyzed whether the United States has reached a “tipping point” in marijuana legalization for the Washington Post.
“Changing public opinion and industry pressures seem to be pushing the federal government and the remaining states to make marijuana available for medical use — and probably, from there, recreational use as well,” Hannah and Mallinson write.
