FAIRBORN — Last year, 350 potential incoming freshmen auditioned for the acting and musical theater programs at Wright State University.
“We took 40,” said W. Stuart McDowell, chairman of theater, motion pictures and dance.
McDowell, in his 16th year at Wright State, has seen the student body diversify from one with a regional flavor to more of a national representation.
