FAIRBORN, Ohio (WDTN) – It took countless hours of study and many sleepless nights, but dozens of med school graduates now know where their hard work will take them.
Graduating students in Wright State’s Boonshoft School of Medicine found out where they would spend their residency during the annual Match Day.
Students opened up the announcements in front of their classmates.. before posting the results on a map for all to see.
“I think it’s a tradition, they’ve been doing it for years. It gives everybody a chance to get excited and be happy in front of everybody and everybody feels good for them, so I think it’s a good thing,” said BJ Balcik, WSU medical student.
