The university community is invited to submit nominations for the 2011 President’s Awards for Excellence. Through Friday, April 15, you may nominate individuals or units who exemplify the spirit of the awards.
Begun in 1986, the President’s Awards for Excellence recognize the vital role that Wright State’s classified and unclassified staff has in the mission and continued success of the university as a whole. A special ceremony recognizing the award recipients will be held on Friday, September 23, 2011.
Individuals may be nominated for human relations, leadership or service. Units may be nominated for outstanding unit or outstanding collaborative units. Additionally, you may nominate individuals, groups or units for the Spirit of Innovation Award.
To nominate your colleague, supervisor, employee or anyone else who is eligible, all you need is a nomination essay and two letters of support. The nomination deadline is Friday, April 15. As an added incentive, anyone who nominates an award recipient receives a $50 cash award.
