Five to be lauded as heroes at event honoring fallen soldier

This year’s honorees are Brian Springer, Ray Stein, Scott Shannon, Brian Reardon and Jaime Frankino.

Springer is the director of Tactical Emergency Medicine at Wright State University. Last August, he performed CPR and was able to revive an East Cleveland Police officer after he collapsed and suffered a heart attack during a SWAT school exercise.
