Upward Bound spells SUCCESS!
On Saturday, April 9, Wright State University Upward Bound students Kevin Jones (senior at Miami Valley Career Technology Center); Treyvon Hart (senior at Wayne High School), and DeJuan Daniels (senior at Horizons Science Academy) will participate in a panel discussion entitled “Overcoming Obstacles—Preparing for the Future!” as part of the Annual Black Men Think Tank to be held at Sinclair Community College starting at 8:30 a.m.
As part of the panel, these young men will share how their experiences with the Wright State Upward Bound Program have served to prepare them for success.
The Upward Bound students will share with the audience some of their individual strategies for overcoming obstacles as they carve out their future directions and options for success in life, school and beyond. They will also discuss the benefits of participation in the Upward Bound Program.
