Director Natasha Randall fell in love with the comedy as an acting student at Wright State University, where it was performed by a group of students.
“This is a play that makes your heart smile,” says Randall, who auditioned each actor privately so the performer felt comfortable portraying the characters, “not holding back.” She also asked each person to share any experience they’d had with someone who was developmentally disabled.
