Wright State University-Lake Campus Interim Dean Bonnie Mathies has been tapped to be the new dean, effective May 1.
Mathies, 68, first served as associate dean at the Lake Campus in 2007 and then became interim dean in June 2010 when dean Jim Sayer retired.
She retired from Wright State University, Dayton, in June 2007 as a professor and associate dean of the College of Education, Human Services. Her retirement proved to be short lived when less that six months later, she accepted the position of associate dean at the Lake Campus.
