- Mondo Guerra, runner-up of “Project Runway” season 8, was a guest judge.
- Prior to the competition, Guerra spoke to the audience about living with HIV.
- Guerra, who is HIV positive, spoke of his own personal battle with the virus.
- Following Mondo’s presentation, competitors had just a couple hours to create their fashions.
- Participants could use any materials except fabric.
- At the end of the competition, models walked the catwalk in their garments.
- Prizes were awarded for the top looks.
