DaShaun Wood, the former Wright State guard who helped the Raiders to the 2007 NCAA tournament, is leading Germany’s top league in scoring heading into the playoffs, which begin Saturday.
Wood has averaged 19.1 points per game for the Deutsche Bank Skyliners, which went 26-8 to finish second in the regular-season standings. Wood is also second in the league in assists (5.8 per game) and averaged 4.6 rebounds, 52.4 percent from the field and 80.1 percent from the free-throw line. He plays a team-high 30.8 minutes per game.
