Allen Hunt, professor of physics, has been nominated for the annual Don and Betty Kirkham Award for soil physics from the Soil Science Society of America, and American Society of Agronomy. His team’s research paper on the dispersion of solutes in porous media was also recently published online in the European Physical Journal B, which called it the most important publication of the month.
