A team of stationary cyclers from the Wright State Athletic Department won the second annual Clemen’s Cycle for a Cure pre-event at Miami Valley South Friday, June 3, by raising $6,075 for local families afflicted by cancer.
The Raider team and several others from around the Miami Valley pedaled stationary bikes in the hospital parking lot for four straight hours to raise money for under-insured and un-insured local cancer patients.
In all about $12,000 dollars was raised at the event, which also featured the Mix 107.7 morning radio show broadcasting live from the event.
