The Horizon League Wednesday released its spring all-academic teams with five Wright State student-athletes being recognized.
Of the five, two are repeat honorees from 2009-10 in senior Louie Haney (softball), who was selected for the third straight year, and junior Jake Hibberd (baseball).
To be eligible for Academic All-Horizon League consideration, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher and have completed at least one year at the member institution, having earned 36 quarter-hour credits.
Faculty athletics representatives and sports information directors in the league make the selections to the teams.
