Volleyball players wore pink ribbons in their hair and special t-shirts to help raise money for injured former volleyball player Andrea (Voss) Velinga.
Wright State University’s volleyball team wore special black and pink t-shirts during warm-ups on Friday, September 16 to help raise money for Andrea (Voss) Vellinga, the former Wright State volleyball player who was critically injured in the stage collapse at the Indiana State Fair on Aug. 13.
Many former volleyball players attended the game and the Saturday match the next day to help sell t-shirts, promote a raffle and a walk. All of the events raised money to help curtail the cost of Velinga’s medical bills.
