Wright State University renovated its student union in 2006 to update the 300,000-square-foot facility that now holds food areas, recreation, student clubs and entertainment. The costs were absorbed by the university, and students do not pay a special fee.
“That is really what it is all about, keeping up with the Joneses,” said Michael J. Schulze, WSU senior facilities planner.
