Howloween Hoopla

After great success and family fun over the last few years, the Wright State men’s and women’s basketball teams will once again hit the Wright State Nutter Center floor to host Howloween Hoopla. The free event will be open to the public as a day for trick-or-treaters as well as a chance to see the players in action before the season starts.

An overwhelming hit in the past when thousands of fans showed up, Howloween Hoopla is back on Saturday, October 29, at the Wright State Nutter Center. WSU cheerleaders, dancers and pep band will be on hand to entertain throughout the day as the teams will take to the floor for drills and exhibitions at approximately 2 pm-2:30 pm.  Tables and booths will be manned by WSU student-athletes and student organizations on the concourse level for trick-or-treaters and fans, starting at 2:30 pm. More activities will be announced such as an autograph session and costume contests.

After the basketball exhibition, fans will be encouraged to stay for the WSU volleyball match on the main floor.  The Raiders will take on Valparaiso at 4 pm, with warmups beginning at 3 pm.  For more information, call the athletics department at 775-2771.

Fans may still purchase season tickets by calling Mark Gazdik at 937-775-4936. Ticket information can be found at wsuraiders.com.
