Much of he crowd may have turned out for the basketball action on the hardwood, but groups of Wright State University staff and students knew Thursday night’s game at the Wright State Nutter Center was about more than just the game.
- Twelve young men and women began their military careers when they took a public oath to defend the United States of America as members of the U.S. Air Force.
- Latino students from across the Miami Valley spent an evening with some Wright State Latino students and Rowdy Raider too.
- Having recently returned from tours in Afghanistan, Marines Zack Pigg, Colt McGinnis and Ethan Kaiser helped celebrate “Heroes Night” when Wright State played host to Cleveland State.
- Two dozen members of We Serve U, the Wright State university organization of staff members engaged in community service, collected items for the local Blue Star Mothers chapter to send to deployed service men and women.
