Students hit the catwalk in newspaper, trash bags and feathers

On Thursday, Feb. 23, the University Activities Board’s hosted the third annual Project Runway. The competition challenged participants to create a stylish garment from unusual materials and then send it down the catwalk. A panel of judges decided team “Latinos Unidos” was the winner of the 2012 competition.

: The dressing room at Wright State’s Project Runway was no place for the faint of heart.

: Team “Latinos Unidos” was not afraid to go heavy on the duct tape.

: The unconventional items used in this fashion creation: newspaper, trash bags and blue feathers from a boa.

: The catwalk wasn’t just for girls at Wright State’s Project Runway.

: With plenty of pizazz, Wright State students struck a pose on the runway.

: Six models donned their team’s creation with smiles, confidence and attitude.
