Peter K. Lauf, M.D., professor emeritus, physiology & biophysics, pathology, has been selected by the American Physiological Society to participate in its “Living Legends in Physiology History” project. The Society encourages its members to interview senior physiologists at their institutions to provide a living history of physiology. The videotaped interviews focus on the physiologist’s training and career and their professional interactions. The interview with Lauf will be conducted this fall. Lauf served as chair of the Department of Physiology and Biophysics from 1985 until 2003, when he was named University Professor in the Boonshoft School of Medicine.
