Wright State professor named president of national association

Rudy Fichtenbaum, a Wright State University professor, has been elected to lead a national professional association for faculty.

Fichtenbaum has been chosen to serve as president of the American Association of University Professors, which supports faculty unionization, tenure and quality standards in higher education. Fichtenbaum begins in his new role in June.
