The Department of Theatre, Dance and Motion Pictures hosted an open portfolio display for junior and senior students majoring in theatre design/technology/stage management. The program prepares students for a variety of backstage disciplines in the world of professional theatre.
“All the kids set up displays of the incredible things they’ve done—lighting, costumes, set building, sound design, etc.,” said Linda Caron, Ph.D., associate dean of the College of Liberal Arts. “Its fascinating stuff, all the behind-the-scenes work that makes our productions spectacular.”
