Wright State Research Institute has purchased the former Science Applications International Corp. building near the school campus and plans to consolidate its employees there this fall — a move expected to further boost WSRI’s reputation.
The university purchased the building, at 4035 Colonel Glenn Highway in Fairborn, known as the Signal Hill Technecenter, for $1.8 million from SAIC, which recently moved from the location when it expanded and relocated its operations within Beavercreek.
“The growth the research institute has experienced over the last five years made this purchase possible,” said Ryan Fendley, WSRI director.
