It is “a Craiglist for college students,” said Tanner Perrien, a 2010 Cedarville graduate now pursing his MBA at Wright State University.
They will do it by requiring an educational email address — a .edu — from anyone selling on the site, Perrien said.
“It’s kind of a guarantee to students and professors using this on campus that someone else with an educational email address originally wrote the ad so it kind of creates a sense of security,” he said.
Anyone can search the site, Perrien said. For now, it is only open at Wright State and Cedarville to post, but the group plans to expand to other schools.
