Wright State expert featured in “Shark Week” documentary

Shark Week on Discovery Channel is even sweeter this year with the appearance of a Dayton-area expert.

Wright State University Lake Campus’s Chuck Ciampaglio, a doctor of paleontology, will be featured on an episode called “Sharkzilla,” which will air today at 9 p.m.

Ciampaglio helped create a full-size model of a gigantic ancient shark known as megalodon — or Sharkzilla for the TV show.
