: Sign of the times: Many students were seen holding up their smartphones to tape John Legend’s performance at Freshman Convocation.

: Move-in Day was a blur for students, parents and staff.

: Golf carts are pretty handy when it’s time to move your student onto campus.

: The 2012–13 academic year took the cake at the welcome week kickoff event.

: Freshmen were given symbolic tassles representing their future graduation at Freshman Convocation.

: At a picnic with the president Wright State’s newest freshmen got some one-on-one time with Wright State President David R. Hopkins.

: Freshmen laughed and listened to comedians at the Big Event.
