The 25th anniversary of the Partab T. Varandani Memorial Lecture, which was scheduled for noon on Friday, Sept. 28, in Gandhi Auditorium in White Hall, has been cancelled.
Jack E. Dixon, Ph.D., one of the most influential biochemists of his generation, was scheduled to speak about “New Discoveries in Kinases and Phosphates.” However, he had to cancel because of a non life-threatening medical situation. The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology plans to reschedule the lecture, but does not yet have a date.
