Bob Grant didn’t mince any words when it came to Wright State playing in the College Basketball Invitational – the post-season tournament simply known as the CBI and a pay-as-you-go distant cousin of the much-trumpeted NCAA tournament.
“It’s one of the best things we have ever done – absolutely,” said the Wright State athletics director. “This has been the crowning moment to a great season and a really great month for us. The buzz around us now is as much of a buzz as we had in 2007 when we made the tournament run (winning the Horizon League Tournament and its automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.)”
