GE Capital is donating $16,500 for teachers to help train students in financial literacy.
Most of the 41 teachers awarded scholarships are from low- to moderate-income school districts in a 15-county area around Dayton.
The teachers are enrolled in a graduate-level economics course at Wright State University’s Raj Soin College of Business Center for Economic Education and Financial Literacy.
“We are truly appreciative of the donation from GE Capital,” said Joanne Li, Dean of the Raj Soin College of Business. “This is an excellent example of the committed partnerships our college has developed to benefit students and residents of the entire region.”
