Two professors from Wright State University have been awarded highly competitive grants from the U.S. Air Force for research equipment.
Madhavi Kadakia, associate director of Wright State’s Center for Genomics Research, received $338,000 for genomic tools. Her lab works with the Air Force Research Laboratory on two projects. One involves studying microscopic structures used for cell growth and differentiation and the other involves studying signals between cells and creating microscopic diagnostic or sensing devices.
