Wright State University’s Emerald Jazz Dance Team will host a master class with Kendra Andrews, a dancer on The X Factor TV show.
Anyone 18 years and older is invited to join the excitement on Saturday, Jan. 11, from 1 to 3:30 p.m. in the Wright State Nutter Center McLin Gym. Registration begins at 12:30 p.m.
No prior dance experience is required.
“This hip-hop class will feature the latest trends in the dance industry and provides everyone with an opportunity to meet a dancer who is involved in films, videos and dance production,” said Joyce Whitaker, spirit coordinator at Wright State. “By attending, participants not only get the opportunity to learn the hottest choreography in the country, but can ask Kendra what it takes to be a dancer and actress.”
Andrews is an accomplished dancer and actress, who starred as “Anala” in Disney’s Step Up 3D and “Villain S” in Game On, was featured in Footloose, and most recently appeared in G.I. Joe: Retaliation.
