Local lawmakers, academics weigh in on Ukraine violence

Liam Anderson, professor of political science at Wright State University, said the violence is the result of a situation that goes to the heart of the Ukrainian identity.

“Ukraine is quite divided,” Anderson said. “There is a legitimate division and difference of opinion in what direction they should be headed.”
