Dayton may not be a designated test center for drones, but leaders say the future is in research.
At the DBJ’s Defense Forum Thursday morning at Wright State University, about 160 industry and development leaders gathered with the future of drones, or UAS, in mind. And while Ohio lost its bid to be one of the six federally-designated UAS test sites, leaders are pushing forward to get into the research and development efforts that will support the unfolding industry regardless.
