With so many students striving to complete degree programs with as little debt as possible, it’s no surprise that competition for scholarships is fierce. As new scholarship programs begin, however, more aspiring students should receive support and opportunities that allow them to work toward degrees.
New Scholarship Provides Support for Military Personnel
Wright State University is the latest institution to open up opportunities for the military. According to a news release, the university’s graduate school recently organized a $750,000 scholarship fund. That money will be used to help military personnel and civilian workers from the nearby Wright-Patterson Air Force Base earn graduate degrees. As part of the program, individuals can apply for up to $7,500 in financial aid from the fund each year.
