It’s a ballet, a new “twist” Broadway show and now the Wright State Theatre Department is taking a stab at it, or should I say hook?
Yes, it’s Peter PAN-demonium!
The latest is happening right now at WSU — and it isn’t the first time they’ve taken a trip to Neverland.
“A non-musical version was presented in the Festival Theatre in 1989. It was a lovely production,” says W. Stuart McDowell, department of Theatre, Dance and Motion Pictures chair and artistic director. “This time though, we’ve got all those fabulous melodies so many of my generation grew up with — like, of course ‘I Won’t Grow Up.’ We felt it was time to revisit this marvelous show!”
