Wright State Physicians Surgery welcomes new doctors in surgical oncology, vascular surgery

Vascular surgeon Kamran A. Jafree

Wright State Physicians Surgery welcomes vascular surgeon Kamran A. Jafree, M.B.B.S., and surgical oncologist Rebecca Tuttle, M.D.

Jafree is accepting new patients and is seeing patients at Miami Valley Hospital South and Upper Valley Medical Center. He also teaches as an assistant professor of vascular surgery in the Department of Surgery at the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine.

He is a fellowship-trained vascular surgeon specializing in minimally invasive endovascular and open surgical repair of vascular disease, including arterial insufficiency, thoracic and abdominal aortic aneurysms and dissections, peripheral arterial disease, carotid artery disease and stroke prevention, hemodialysis access, deep vein thrombosis and venous insufficiency.

He earned his medical degree from Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. He interned at the University of Connecticut, Farmington. He completed a general surgery residency at State University of New York at Buffalo and a vascular surgical fellowship at Albany Medical Center in Albany, N.Y. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.

Rebecca Tuttle

Surgical oncologist Rebecca Tuttle

Tuttle is accepting new patients and is seeing patients at Kettering Medical Center and Miami Valley Hospital South. She also teaches as an assistant professor of surgery in the Department of Surgery at the Boonshoft School of Medicine.

She is a fellowship-trained surgical oncologist specializing in breast cancer, melanoma, sarcoma, advanced gastrointestinal cancer and peritoneal malignancies.

She earned her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She completed a general surgery residency at the Boonshoft School of Medicine Department of Surgery and a research fellowship at Wright State’s Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. She also completed a surgical oncology fellowship at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo. Tuttle is certified by the American Board of Surgery.
