Fleece blankets for sick and traumatized children were cut, tied and labeled by Wright State students, faculty and staff on March 30 in the Student Union Atrium.
More than 1,000 blankets were donated to Dayton Children’s hospital through the nonprofit organization Project Linus. Since 1997, Project Linus has donated over 3.1 million blankets nationally.
One blanket costs between $10 and $18 to make. Wright State has donated a total of 5,200 blankets in previous years to the Dayton Area Project Linus.
