Wright State welcomes two new members to its Board of Trustees

Ohio Gov. John Kasich has appointed two new trustees to the 11-member Wright State University Board of Trustees.

Sean Fitzpatrick, 48, of Mason, was appointed for a term beginning July 22, 2016, and ending June 30, 2025. He replaces Larry Klaben.

Fitzpatrick is the managing director of North American research solutions at LexisNexis Legal & Professional.

Fitzpatrick is responsible for U.S. research business, which delivers information resources and insights to legal professionals in law firms, corporations and government. Fitzpatrick is also the site leader for the Dayton campus facility, the largest LexisNexis location in the United States.

Fitzpatrick joined LexisNexis in 2005 and has an MBA from the University of Michigan, where he graduated with highest distinction, and a bachelor of business administration from the University of Notre Dame.

Jordan Large, 20, of Cincinnati, is Wright State’s newest student trustee. She was appointed for a term beginning July 22, 2016, and ending June 30, 2018. She replaces Hailey Billing.

A junior at Wright State University, Large is pursuing a B.A. in urban affairs with a concentration in urban management.

Large works for the Division of Multicultural Affairs and Community Engagement, serves as a President’s Ambassador and interns with the Department of Central Services for the City of Dayton.

Large has been the speaker of the House of Representatives for the Student Government Association and was recently appointed as the organization’s director of diversity and inclusion.
