Pamela Nelson is a nontraditional nursing student who is in her senior year at Wright State University.

Nelson was awarded the Presidential Scholar title now that she is pursuing her second college degree some 10 years after her first go-round.

“College is harder with a family,” Nelson said.

Nelson sees it as an honor to be chosen for the Presidential Scholar.
