The Wright State women’s and men’s club bowling teams are both having terrific seasons. The women’s team is ranked first on collegebowling.com while the men’s team is ranked eighth in the nation.
“We’ve had a pretty good run,” said women’s head bowling coach Jeff Fleck.
The women’s team has qualified for the National Bowling Tournament six of the last seven years. Last year, the team finished the season ranked third in the country.
“I love being a part of it, it’s so great,” said Colleen Hines, a junior on the women’s bowling team.
Both clubs will be in action on Nov. 12 and 13 when the teams host the Raider Classic at Beaver Vu in Beavercreek and Capri Lanes in Moraine.
